Propree operates a social platform that allows producers and consumers to join forces to fight counterfeiting. The technology is built on a blockchain infrastructure with embedded artificial intelligence. Propree's solution enhances a track-and-trace approach by usingnew technology combined with the network power of social media. The main agent in the process is the end-user whochecks the product for authenticity. The user only needs to have a smartphone with Propree's application installed on it, and to authenticate the product users point their smartphone at the label's unique number/barcode. The application will retrieve the tracking history of theproduct and display it to the user.
