PrediMed's flagship product is an AI-based clinical decision support system. It is specifically designed to address the challenges faced by children undergoing MRI scans. Typically, sedation or general anesthesia is used to keep children still during the procedure, which can be stressful for both the child and their parents. This approach carries risks and additional costs.
PrediMed's system takes a personalized approach by learning the unique needs of each child and matching them with local aids and solutions available at the MRI institute. The goal is to increase the success rate of sedation-free MRI scans for children, reducing the need for sedation and anesthesia.
Founded by a team of researchers, engineers, and doctors who graduated from the prestigious Biodesign-Stanford program in collaboration with Rambam Hospital and the Technion at Haifa, PrediMed is currently conducting clinical trials and establishing collaborations with leading clinical institutions worldwide to further advance their innovative solution.
