POCARED Diagnostics is an in vitro diagnostics company developing a microbiology platform. The companys P-1000 is an automated rapid system that employs intrinsic fluorescence, optical data analysis, and artificial intelligence methods to analyze the multidimensional optical characteristics of microorganisms. The system captures emitted light from the interaction between photons and molecules to detect the pathogens unique optical properties, and an algorithm determines the results. POCAREDs SP is a highly efficient, general-use, rapid-filtration-based fractionation concentration platform. It concentrates biological particles suspended in liquid form from a feed suspension, and cells of interest are detached intact from the membrane using a wet foam formulation. POCAREDs SP system aims to deliver high rates of cell recovery and viability.
