Particle Monitoring Technologies Ltd (PML) has developed and patented an in-process nanoparticle analyzer capable of measuring the concentration of particles and their size down to the nanometer range. Its technology can also differentiate among distinct particle populations according to their optical properties, both in fluids, such as oil and water, and in air.
PMLs patented technology combines artificial intelligence with a structured laser beam scanning at high speed across the sample. The technology can be used in a wide range of industrial applications, offering real-time continuous monitoring of nanoparticles in exacting industrial processes such as water treatment, cement production, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
