PCT - Protective Coating Technology offers surface protection for a range of aluminum, magnesium, and titanium alloys. Using a proprietary oxidation technique, PCT can convert a metallic surface into a thin, dense, and very hard ceramic layer that provides a rare combination of hardness, strength, and resistance to wear and corrosion. The company works closely with the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in R&D for advanced surface protection technologies involving light metals. PCT was founded as a joint venture of IDE Technologies, which develops water treatment technologies, and Adionim, which specializes in advanced coating technologies. PCT is a subsidiary of IDE Technologies Ltd.
