Wearable Device to Reduce Hand Tremors
Papayona is developing a small personal wearable device to help patients with hand tremors. The device reduces tremors by providing instantaneous feedback, enabling patients to improve their functional activity. The companys device is designed for patients with hand tremors caused by Parkinsons disease or essential tremor (ET), a neurological movement disorder that causes the hands, head, and voice, and sometimes the legs and trunk, to shake.
