In November 2018, the company launched HemaShock, an emergency auto-transfusion tourniquet that is used to squeeze blood out of the legs (and from the arms as well, if necessary) and block the re-entry of arterial blood flow into those limbs. This can be done quickly by a single caregiver, even during transport. The HemaShock is indicated for use in patients who have very low systolic blood pressure (less than 80 mm Hg) due to hemodynamic shock or cardiac arrest.
