Noninvasive Sleep Hypoglycemia Alert System
Night-Sense is developing a noninvasive wearable medical device that provides real-time alerts about nocturnal hypoglycemia for diabetics who use insulin to control their condition. The Hypo-Sense uses a designated set of sensors and a smart, personally calibrated algorithm to detect any unusual symptoms. Hypo-Sense monitors patients continuously and autonomously during the night, and if a dangerous hypoglycemia event is detected, the device alerts the patient or caregiver.
