NictActive is developing sEyelect - a hands free interface for Augmented/Virtual/Mixed Reality headsets and Digital Eyewear. sEyelect can be integrated into any headset frame, thereby eliminating the need for an additional controller to use or lose. The device senses muscle movements around the eyes, creating a natural way to interact with the virtual environment, select items onscreen, and turn applications on/off with simple and intuitive facial movements. sEyelect is plug-andplay, forgoing complex user calibration steps, and utilizes low power, light weight sensor arrays and advanced algorithms for high sensitivity and accuracy.
