Next Dimension is developing retinal imaging systemsthat utilize spectral imaging to map metabolic activity in the retina toprovide an early warning beforethe onset of noticeable anatomic tissue damage followed by vision loss. The system will be used as part of the routine practice to diagnose and monitor the treatment of patients suffering from vision-threatening diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, AMD, and glaucoma.
