EEG for Preventing Brain Injury During Anesthesia
NeuroIndex is developing an AI-based brain health platform to prevent brain damage during anesthesia, using EEG signals in response to sound stimuli. The device consists of a single-use headset for monitoring EEG and a processing unit. The technology is able to identify and report real-time indications of brain damage during surgery as a result of anesthesia, enabling anesthesiologists to intervene in a timely manner and reducing the possibility of post-operative neurocognitive disorders (PND).
