NantMobile Israel is a result of the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent's Digital Multimedia Solutions business unit in 2013 by NantWorks (which was formerly an Israeli company called Mobilitec). In 2015, NantMobile invested in Wibbitz, a text-to-video technology company. The Israeli team develops the next-generation mobile marketing platform iD, which turns consumers into customers by activating ads or products with monetizable transactions. This technology enables consumers to browse the physical world and unlock digital content, so they can discover, act, and transact like never before.
