Copper-based Antimicrobial Wound Dressing
MEDCu Technologies is a biotech company focused on developing a cost-effective antimicrobial wound dressing that incorporates copper microparticles. The dressing is designed to provide a barrier against bacterial contamination while concurrently supporting the healing process. The MedCu Wound Dressing contains an internal absorbent layer and one or two nonwoven external layers, all of which are impregnated with copper particles. The dressings are nonirritating and nonsensitizing and are available in three configurations, with or without an adhesive contour. MEDCus products are ideal for acute, diabetic, and chronic wounds.
