About

Automatic Ventilation Device

LifeCan Medical, in conjunction with engineers, doctors, and quality and regulation personnel, has developed a device that converts a standard manual BVM respirator into an automated ventilator. The low-cost, easy-to-use device supplies ventilation to patients for an extended period at a stable and accurate frequency and volume according to predefined parameters. The LifeCan device can be used in hospital emergency preparedness programs for large-scale public health emergencies; in prehospital medicine (e.g. military and emergency and rescue services); for the transfer of ventilated patients between departments in hospitals; and in least developed countries (LDCs) that lack automated respirators. LifeCan Medical is a subsidiary of Guide In Medical, a medical device company specializing in airway management, respiration, and intensive care.
