Kaspersky Labs opened an R&D center in Jerusalem in 2014. The R&D center was established as part of the joint Jerusalem municipality Jerusalem Development Authority Jnext initiative.
Kaspersky Lab opened its Future Tech Lab in Israel in 2017. Located at the Kaspersky Lab R&D office in Jerusalem, the center researches cyber threats that target new technologies, such as Internet of Things, embedded systems, automotive, and industrial control systems.
