IScanOr is developing an electronic skin-screening device that will potentially enable the early detection of skin cancer. The device will help medical staff in the community to monitor patients' skin and moles as a decision-support tool. The device is based on photonics and optics technologies, sensors, image and data analysis, and AI algorithms. The combination of information from these technologies will significantly increase the accuracy of the device. IScanOr was initially developed at OAL Innovations, and the company was established after achieving proof-of-concept technology.
