IonTerra is developing a robust platform for driverless cars that offers several layers of data analysis, monitoring, and visual solutions for autonomous driving. IonTerra increases autonomous vehicle reliability by offering a software redundancy layer on top of existing hardware redundancy layers that seek to overcome the shortcomings of sensors. The company's patented rtCVI real-time computer-vision solution cross-references sensor information for validity, monitors each sensor, and adds logic and cross-validation to the sensors' raw data.
