Inksure's SmartInk solutions work by adding special chemical markers to the standard inks and coatings used by businesses for their overt and covert security features. The combination of markers, inks, and material produces unique electro-optical signature codes that are seamlessly incorporated into printed materials and packaging. Each customer's SmartInk formula has a unique signature that is invisible to the naked eye under UV, visible, and IR sources, making it virtually impossible to replicate and extremely accurate. These signature codes are identified by Inksure's proprietary, user-friendly, handheld or mounted electro-optical readers. The readers verify the signature codes within seconds by emitting simple yes-no visual and audio signals.
