Fault Current Limiter
GridON offers a commercial, saturated, core-based fault current limiter (FCL) to suppress damaging fault currents on distribution and transmission grids for uninterrupted operation and network stability.
By removing fault current constraints, GridON enables increased supply, connection of renewable and distributed generation, and grid interconnectivity without costly network upgrades. The companys commercially available FCL can lower capital expenditures and operating costs and extend the useful life of existing network assets.
