Pathogen Detection in Drinking and Source Water
Genaphora has developed real-time, quantitative PCR (qPCR) and end-point PCR diagnostic kits. The company has developed its own computational biology platform employing thermodynamics calculations and modifications of linguistic complexity. Genaphoras approach ensures the best fit primers and probes out of a whole genome sequence of any given organism, resulting in greater sensitivity and specificity. The AquatiqPCR is based on Genaphoras patented chimeric DNA/RNA primer/probes technology and proprietary computational platform, and offers highly specific, supersensitive detection down to a single cell. AquatiqPCR can detect E. coli, Cryptosporidium, and Giardia in water samples.
