Glaucoma Diagnosis Procedure
EyeOP offers amethod for intraocular pressure (IOP) measurement whenpatients are lying down. IOP measurement in the lying down position considerably improves the diagnostic ability and the timely, suitable treatment of glaucoma. The EyeOP system is comprised of a modified ophthalmic surgical bed with a slit lamp and headrest, enabling IOP measurement using a Goldmann applanation tonometer (GAT). An alternative configuration includesa cart for dual IOP-GAT measurement in sitting and lying down positions.
