Electromagnetic Monitoring with Cardiac Arrhythmia Ablation
EPD Solutions developed the KODEX - EPD, a cardiac mapping and navigation system which utilizes electromagnetic technology to create real-time three-dimensional, high definition (3D-HD) images of a patients cardiac structures. Due to its design, the KODEX - EPD cardiac mapping and navigation system enables the operator to use their preferred mapping and ablation catheters, rather than sensor based catheters. The KODEX cardiac mapping and navigation system offers the PANOv panoramic view, a unique feature that simplifies navigation and ablation procedures by allowing a flattened whole chamber 3D view. With this feature, the operator can navigate and ablate in an easy way. In June 2018, EPD Solutions was acquired by Royal Philips of the Netherlands, a member of the Hobart Group. The companys Cardiac Mapping and Navigation System has received CE mark approval.
