Organic Waste Solution
Entoprotech is a circular economy company engaged in organic/food waste treatment and processing. The company harnesses the unique qualities of insects, particularly black soldier flies (Hermetia illucens), in order to convert food waste into variety of advanced products. Among Entoprotech's products are defatted insect meal (high-protein replacement for fishmeal); high-quality insect fat, which is currently used as feed and has many potential uses in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals; and frass (leftovers from larvae metabolic activity), which is a high-quality fertilizer.
