In July 2020, EndoGI Medical received FDA approval for its technology, which enables the possibility of inserting two stents simultaneously into the bile ducts connected to the pancreas, significantly reducing the danger of exposing patients to infections and other life-threatening situations caused by the repetitive insertions of singular stents.
Following the FDA approval, the company is focusing on receiving approval from the Israeli Health Ministry and marketing the technology for clinical use in Israel and the United States.
