About

Endoscopic Add-on Device for Improved Visualization and Screening

EndoAid is developing a family of tools to facilitate gastroenterology procedures. Its EndoRings Distal Attachment is an endoscopic add-on device made from silicone and designed to fit a variety of endoscopes. The device has a short, tube-like core with several layers of flexible circular rings. When advancing a scope into the colon, the EndoRings Distal Attachment provides only negligible resistance, as the circular rings easily fold backward to open the colon. During scope removal and colon screening, the rings center the scope and smooth the folds of the colon, enhancing the scopes field of view and improving visualization and screening. EndoAid is a subsidiary of Aran Research and Development Ltd.
