ECHO mimics the end result of electrology, destroying the hair papilla through the targeted, noninvasive delivery of negatively charged ions. Unlike electrolysis, ECHO technology uses the hair shaft as a conduit to deliver the ions to the hair papilla and destroy it, while the device glides over the skin. Since the technology is not light-based, it does not rely on pigmentation and is therefore suitable for allskin and hair colors. It is fast, continuous, easy to operate, totally painless, and does not induce any adverse side effects. There are also nopre- orpost-treatment restrictions.
