Dropbox Inc offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud, and client software. Dropbox allows users to create a special folder on their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder regardless of which device is used to view it. Files placed in this folder are also accessible via the Dropbox website and mobile apps.
Dropbox's first engineering office outside of the United Stateswas situated in Israel after the acquisition of CloudOn in 2015. The Israeli R&D Center is working on several features that are integrated into the DropBox' products including data tagging, data management,, and metadata search.
