Notification Aid for People with Hearing Loss
DreamZon has developed LightOn, a static pairing base for mobile phones that serves people with impaired hearing or hearing loss. Users simply set their smartphone in the LightOn base, and upon receiving a call or message, the device flashes brightly as an alert. LightOn uses a bright LED light that continues to flash until the user notices the call and resets the unit. The LightOn base can also link with a transmitter and vibrating pillow. The transmitter connects with lights elsewhere in the area, causing them to flash when notifications are received. The vibrating pillow is also intended for use as an alarm.
