Real-time Soil Nitrate Monitoring

DOTS is dedicated to developing continuous, real-time soil nitrate monitoring to combat fertilizer overapplication and protect the environment. Based on seven years of research and four registered patents, DOTS's electro-optical sensors and proprietary analysis algorithms enable real-time, continuous, and affordable nitrate monitoring.

With DOTS, farmers can have access to continuous and precise soil information to support data-driven decisions for irrigation and fertilization, saving up to 40% of applied fertilizers every season as well as greatly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and groundwater contamination resulting from over-fertilization.
