The local branch began as a unit of the telephony networking compression solutions developer ECI Telecom Ltd. In 2003, the unit was merged with US company IP Verse to create Veraz Networks, which developed IP network compression products for telecommunications vendors. Veraz merged with Dialogic in 2010 and hasoperated as Dialogic since then.
