DecideVR developed a virtual reality simulator for reducing errors and saving lives in intensive care units (ICUs). The simulator detects and reviews errors and biases of medical doctors and interns and provides a valuable feedback report in real time. The company's proprietary engine collects data points that are aggregated and analyzed to identify both weaknesses and strengths in decision-making. Individual reports with personalized recommendations are provided to the user to improve decision-making. The process takes minutes but results in a detailed report with remediation suggestions that can transform the quality of future decisions. The platform currently focuses on cardiovascular ICU decisions where errors are intolerable. Along with medical experts, DecideVR is also developing simulations and scenarios in a multitude of specializations and sub-specializations in response to the growing need of hospitals and medical schools to significantly reduce human errors in intensive care units.
