Comelody is the developer of Melodo, a platform for instantly sharing musical phrases. Available as a VST/audio unit, Melodo enables composers to rapidly explore many musical phrases, such as bass line, lead, pad, and percussion loops. As the composing process is derivative by nature, Melodo seeks to expose composers to as many musical phrases as possible in order to build a bulk of ideas from which to create new and innovative music. Each musical phrase can be played by itself or together with an existing composition; alternatively, it can be modified using a fully functional internal sequencer. Melodo has its own internal synthesizer as well as the ability to use other VST/audio unit plug-ins in order to create the musical phrases.
