ScyllaDB is a NoSQL column store database, fully compatible with Apache Cassandra based on shared-nothing architecture and optimized for better usage of CPU and memory. Scylla is an open-source company led by the originators of the KVM hypervisor. The ScyllaDB team is behind the OSv and SeaStar open-source projects. Since launching, Scylla has replaced Cassandra at hundreds of leading organizations, including Comcast, GE, Grab, IBM, Opera Software, Samsung, and Starbucks.
