Carestream Health, formerly Eastman Kodak Company's Health Group, is an independent subsidiary of Onex Corporation (from Canada). Carestream's research and developmentcenters in Israel are formed by Algotec Systems, a developer of advanced solutions for medical imaging management. Algotec was previously acquired by Kodak. In March 2019, Carestream announced negotiations with Phillips to sell its health IT divisions.
