The company's Personal External Defibrillator (PED) is a user-friendly, smartphone-sized portable defibrillator that can shorten the response time in the event of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) to under five minutes. The PED-S defibrillator is the size of a thick business card and can deliver up to 70 joules. It is designed to protect children at risk for SCA. The PED-M is the size of a slightly thicker smartphone. This defibrillator is designed for adults and can deliver energy pulses of 150 joules. The PED-L defibrillator is for large or obese patients and can deliver more than five consecutive shocks of 200 joules each.
