CANN-IL specializes in the identification and characterization of wild cannabis strains that can be used to detect genetic resistance against diseases. The company intends to develop several elite varieties that carry genes for resistance and are suitable for a number of markets.
All of CANN-IL’s breeding processes are focused on the horticultural characteristics and quality of the cannabinoids (THC and CBD) characterized by the company’s chemistry team, in conjunction with Professor Yigal Cohen’s lab at Bar-Ilan University.
