Bullpup Scientific is developing the M/29 BullPup, a solution for IV access with a longer dwell time. The M/29 BullPup reduces restarts, needle sticks, and the number of insertion sites, as well as reducing vein damage. Its single, simple over-the-needle insertion lasts up to 29 days, with minimal training needed. The solution fills the current gap in effective IV access for the average hospitalized patient whose length of stay is expected to be longer than 2 to 3 days.
