Gunshot Detection
Aurislink provides acoustic sound detection and processing to detect gunshots and their location. The companys algorithm can respond to any blast sound emerging from a barrel and will ignore other sounds, such as buses, vehicles backfiring, and lightning storms. Aurislinks gunshot-signature algorithm is based on a signal-processing detection and estimation technique. The company uses nonlinear models that produce minimal system noise and optimally implements the algorithms into a DSP. In addition to acoustic gunshot detection, Aurislinks field-proven technology can also provide an accurate direction of origin.
