AppsMapper is a location-aware mobile app designed for tourists. AppsMapper indexes other mobile applications related to specific cities, regions, countries, or points of interest. AppsMapper offers users a way to discover relevant mobile apps by enabling them to select the city, country, or region where they are traveling or in which they live. Using GPS coordinates, AppsMapper then maps the applications of popular tourist attractions, points of interest, and local businesses. The company also creates reports of travel apps' coverage per specific location. Such reports enable official tourist boards and ministries of tourism to identify which locations require improvements in terms of mobile apps, supported languages, and content coverage.
