Alganite develops technology for producing high-nitrogen fertilizer from the atmosphere using nitrogen-fixing cyanobacteria.
The company's automated photo-bioreactors operate onsite to produce ammonia from the air using the sun as an energy source. The technology is designed to greatly increase the availability of precision organic fertilizer for food growers worldwide while dramatically reducing the huge carbon footprint of fertilizers produced using the Haber–Bosch process.
